What We Do

Whether you want to form a union at your workplace or you want to start a career as a UFCW organizer, organizing is the most important way to raise the working and living standards of workers.

What we do for member education:

  • Hold Orientation Classes for members whohave between 6 months and 18 months seniority
  • Pass on the union message at high schools and other learning institutions
  • Work with the Organizing Department on educational information for non-union workers.

In every legislative issue that matters to working people, UFCW members have been on the front lines advocating for change that works and for policies that help working families in America.
